June 19, 2009 (Rock Island, Ill.) -- Scott Florence, president and CEO of Hill & Valley, Inc., recently announced a team expansion that includes Marketing Director Amy Behning, Regional Sales Manager Rich Kendall and Marketing Analyst Jenny Molyneaux.

“We’re expanding our team to meet our business’ growing needs, including our national ADA sponsorship and the expanding number of nationwide retailers carrying Hill & Valley products,” says Florence.

Amy Behning joined Hill & Valley, Inc. in May 2009, filling the newly created role of marketing director.

"We recently launched a national promotional sponsorship with the American Diabetes Association (ADA), making this new role essential. We have introduced 14 products—from cookies to angel food and sliced cake – that meet the strict guidelines of the ADA for a healthy diabetic lifestyle. Those products, as well as partnerships in nearly 20 markets promoting the ADA’s Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes, are key initiatives Amy will be leading," says Florence.

Behning most recently worked as the vice president of operations for Rock Island-based dphilms Imaging Services where she was responsible for operations strategy, business development and strategic client services. Previously, Behning served as the vice president of marketing for DavenportOne as well as the vice president of internal communications, North American market, for Case Corp. in Racine, Wis.

She earned her undergraduate degree from Augustana College and is currently pursuing her M.A. in public relations at the University of Northern Iowa.

She resides in Bettendorf with her husband Greg Behning.

Richard Kendall assumed the role of northern regional sales manager in May 2009 responsible for managing customer relations and adding new retailers to the Hill & Valley family. His accounts are located primarily in the northeastern United States.

Kendall says he joined Hill & Valley because of the organization's exceptional product quality and strong commitment to diabetic consumers.

"Rich is a seasoned professional in the food industry," says Florence. "His impressive career, ranging from pastry chef to his most recent position as northeast regional manager for Ralcorp Frozen Bakery gives him the insight needed to be a stellar member of our team."

Prior to his position at Ralcorp, Kendall served as eastern zone director for Minnesota-based Schwan's Bakery where he drove business development and managed account activity.

Kendall's education includes Curry College, Plymouth, Mass., the American Institute of Baking, and the University of Massachusetts.

He resides in Plymouth, Mass., with his wife Michele Kendall and their twin teenage sons.

Earlier in 2009 Jenny Molyneaux took on the newly created role of marketing analyst responsible for qualitative and quantitative research analysis and development of marketing strategy based on research benchmarks.

Florence remarks, "Jenny is focused on research surrounding our niche market of diabetics in order to help Hill & Valley better meet their needs."

Previously, Molyneaux worked with Chicago-based firms Customer Development Corporation and May and Speh, Inc. where she managed database-marketing programs for companies such as ServiceMaster, Broyhill and State Farm Insurance.

"I joined Hill & Valley because I have always been intrigued with the complexities and trends of marketing in the food industry," says Molyneaux. "The positive environment and mission-based culture that is part of Hill & Valley is a great fit for me."

Molyneaux earned her undergraduate degree from DePauw University; she earned her Masters degree at Northwestern University in integrated marketing communications.

She resides in Bettendorf, Iowa, with her husband Dan Molyneaux and their three children.
