Hill & Valley expands team to meet demand of growing business.

September 20, 2010 (Rock Island, Ill.) - Scott Florence, president and CEO of Hill & Valley, Inc., recently announced a team expansion with the addition of Doug Davidson to the newly created role of executive vice president of sales and marketing.

“We are growing our team to meet our business’ needs, including the roll out of new product lines and expanding the number of nationwide retailers carrying Hill & Valley products,” says Florence.

Prior to joining Hill & Valley, Doug Davidson was president of California-based XLNT Foods Corp. and Jacques Gourmet/Miss Meringue. Earlier in his career, he held roles including senior vice president sales and marketing for Parco Foods in Blue Island, Ill., as well as vice president for Orval Kent Foods, Inc., Wheeling, Ill. where he led the company’s growth for $30 million to more than $200 million.

“Our national market is continuously growing, making the addition of this new position essential,” says Florence. “After making a name for himself in the industry for 20 years, he was seen as a great candidate for this newly created leadership position.”

Davidson says he joined Hill & Valley because of the organization’s exceptional product quality and commitment to customer service.

“Doug is a seasoned professional in the food industry,” says Florence. "His impressive career experience gives him the tools needed to be a stellar member of our team."

Doug is an alumnus of Florida State University.
